The 44th Akashvani Annual Awards presentation ceremony for the years 2016 and 2017 was held on 24th December 2019 at Rang Bhavan, Broadcasting House, New Delhi. I&B Minister Shri. Prakash Javadekar, Prasar Bharati Chairman Dr A Surya Prakash, Prasar Bharati CEO Shashi Shekhar Vempati and Shri F. Sheheryar, DG, AIR graced the function. All India Radio Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh) bagged the prestigious Akashavani Annual Award - 2017 for *Best Maintained Station* ( in small station category) . Shri. G.P.Sharma DDE received the award in the august presence of I&B Minister Shri. Prakash Javadekar, Prasar Bharati Chairman Dr A Surya Prakash, Prasar Bharati CEO Shashi Shekhar Vempati and Shri F. Sheheryar, DG, AIR. It was a proud moment to all the Staff members at AIR Bilaspur. Congratulations to one and all who were part of the team.
