All India Radio Jeypore proudly organised Tribal & Folk Music and Dance Festival at the Jaykaypur, Rayagada on Saturday, the 30th March 2019 from 6.30 pm onwards.
Shri Biswajeet Dwivedy , Vice President (Commercial), Shri N K Jain and shri Ajit Kumar Nayak from J K Paper Mills, Jaykaypur actively participated in making the occassion a grand success.
All India Radio was represented by Jugal Kishore Panda, PEX, Jagadish Adhikary, PEX, Lalmoni Chakraborty, AE, Smt. Gopa Chakraborty, AE, Ranjan Kumar Behera , Senior Announcer, Manoj Kumar Samantaray, Senior Announcer, Bijay Kumar Samantaray , Music Composer - cum - Violinist , Smt. M. Seetha, Engineering Assistant, Niranjan Panda, Technician, Bhaskar Tanti , MTS & Phulchant Nag, MTS.
Shri Gopinath Mohapatra , Smt. Niharika Sahoo and Prashant Kumar Samantaray mesmerized the captive audience with their scintillating Folk Songs while Prabhati Rout & her troupe performed Paraja Dance, Shri Dhanar Bhatra & his troupe presented Bhatra Dance and Shri Dasarath Dharua and his troupe made the audience shake a leg to their magnificent typical dance performance.
It was really heartening to find the great performances by some leading vocal artists and approved Tribal Troupes of AIR Jeypore showcasing their extraordinary performances on the stage before an invited elite audience. Thanks to J K Paper Mills , Jaykaypur, Rayagada for their wonderful Hospitality and logistics support.
In the last one & half years this is the 5th stage show AIR Jeypore has successfully organised including two Radio Kishan Diwas Melas at Nawarangpur in February 2018 and at Kundra in February 2019 and two Light Music Concerts in the AIR Jeypore Campus in March 2018 & last February 2019 .Everything has been possible because the exemplary team spirit & bonhomie shown by my friends & colleagues at this Station .
