Shri S.D. Uprety, PEX, AIR Bareilly had expired on 23rd April 2015, four years back. He was a talented folk artist. He had joined AIR as a PEX on 30th August 1991 and served at different stations like Lucknow, Almora, Paudi and finally Bareilly. He is survived by his wife and one daughter.
Prasar Bharati Parivar volunteer had talked to his wife Smt. Jyoti Upreti and conveyed our rememberance to the whole family. Mrs. Jyoti was happy when our volunteer talked to her and for remembering Mr. Uprety and his family. She became emotional and invited our Volunteer to their house. Their only daughter Bhumika Uperty is presently pursuing 4th year B.Tech in Electronics and Communication. Mrs Uprety is a housewife maintaining good health. They are presently staying at Haldwani (Nainital dist.).
