Venue : WIAA Children’s Traffic Park, Nathelal Parekh Marg, Near Oval Maidan
Opposite Campion School, Mumbai on Sunday, 14th January 2018
Western India Automobile Association is observing the 29th Road Safety Week in collaboration with the Mumbai Traffic Police, State Transport Authority, and Mumbai Police with effect from January 11th 2018 to January 17th 2018, as declared by the Central Government.
For the whole week, WIAA gives Free Safe Driving Classes for taxi drivers and truck drivers carrying hazardous goods, school bus drivers and BEST bus drivers,Safe Driving classes on Truck and Bus Driving Training Simulators, etc.
The Drawing cum Slogan Competition on Road Safety will be held on Sunday, 14th January 2018 at Children’s Traffic Park, at Cooperage. It is aimed to develop Road Sense and Safety Awareness amongst school going children who will be responsible citizens of tomorrow.
The Categories of Children will be identified as follows:
Category I - from Std. I to Std. IV
Category II - from Std. V to Std. VII,
Category III - from Std. VIII to Std. X.
Category IV - is for Special Category.
