Good morning friends...today is birthday of AIR Vijayawada which is like my birth place as broadcaster where I learnt , experiment and excel a lot. Though I worked out of six of all 12 Telugu stations of AIR in two Telugu states , at Vijayawada during 1996-2002 , I got great fame and reputation as broadcaster as well as writer. Jai AIR Vijayawada Jahaho AIR Vijayawada! My 40 minute Udayarekhalu at 7 15 am was very popular with thought provoking and utility based content for which stalwarts like Mahidhara Ramamohana Rao, Nanduri Ramamohana Rao, C V N Dhan, Daruru Veeraiah, Dr Rajaramamohana Rao, Dr Paruchuri Rajaram, Vegunta Mohana Prasad were regular and celebrity listeners along with many. At the turn of century (1999 july to 2002 July) made a series called Satavasanta Sahitee Manjeeraalu in which 100 Telugu classics published during 20th century were introduced by eminent writers of those days. After two decades Andhra bhoomi daily has been serializing these talks for past six months. This is one among many innovative efforts. Those days I had five weekly columns in different dailies and periodicals. Publication of my books has also started in 1998 in Vijayawada. I love Vijayawada and AIR Vijayawada...
