The summers got a lot more fun with the online trailer launch of HANUMAN DA DAMDAAR, brought to us by director Ruchi Narain and her toli. The film is all set to release on 19th of May and give the children a new friend and a new superhero. Given it has none other than Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Salman Khan himself giving the voice for Hanuman it is a summer bonanza you cannot miss.
Hanuman Da Damdaar promises to give a fun, entertaining insight on Hanuman and his life before he realized his strengths and purpose, before he found direction that we have read in Ramayana. The film has music by Sneha Khanwalkar is totally set to rock the charts and the dance floor! With technology that we have never seen before, HANUMAN DA DAMDAAR is clearly the new-age entertainer.
“Who said mythological characters cannot be youth icons, HANUMAN DA DAMDAAR is all about the fun, cute, cool Hanuman who will walk right into the hearts of people. He is as affable as he is innocent and is totally set to create a lot of fun this summers,” vouched Ruchi Narain who has assembled a fantastic caste with names like Raveena Tandon, Kunal Khemu, Chunky Pandey, Makrand Deshpande, Vinay Pathak, Saurabh Shukla and even, Javed Akhtar.
HANUMAN DA DAMDAAR promises the kids a lot of fun, in a genre that has been sadly neglected in Bollywood. “Both animation and children’s film is a huge phenomenon all over the world but it has yet to be given its due in Bollywood, HANUMAN DA DAMDAAR is our attempt to remedy that,” expressed Ruchi.
While the Hanuman character franchise remains the IP of Percept Pictures, the film is written and directed by Ruchi Narain, HANUMAN DA DAMDAAR marks the first feature film under the banner of R.A.T. films, a brainchild of Ruchi Narain, Ashutosh Shah and Taher Mithaiwala. The trio believe it is their passion, ingenuity and quality of work that sets them apart from the rest. R.A.T. films and RNB films are not leaving any stone unturned, their trailer launch went viral as they had little Hanuman-babies taking the trailer all over the town and creating quite a buzz, if that’s not it they are all set with memorabilia and merchandise and games all ready to be launched with Hungama. Clearly, this summer, be prepared to be HANUMANED.
