New Delhi, April 4, 2017: PNB MetLife Junior Badminton Championship Season 3 witnessed an adrenaline pumping 2nd day with action-packed encounters between the participants at the Thyagaraj Stadium, New Delhi. The tournament is being organized by Sara Foundation (an organisation for the promotion of sports).
In the Boys Singles U-13 category of PNB MetLife Junior Badminton Championship Season 3, Tejas Saxena ousted Yashvardhan Vij in straight sets 15-4, 15-8. In another match, Manish Phogat defeated Bharat Gulati in straight sets 15-4, 15-7.
In the Girls Singles U-13 category, Sakshi Phogat advanced in the tournament by defeating Jahnvi in an easy win with scores 15-0, 15-1. In the same category, Myra Grover emerged victorious after a tight 3-set match against Vaishnavi Puneyani with scores 15-10, 14-15, 15-11.
In the Boys Singles U-15 category, Shivansh Negi breezed past Jaisnav Bhadana with scores 15-1, 15-0.
