This is with regards to Mukta A2 Cinemas and their endeavour to revive classic cinema by re-premiering classic films from the pre-2000 era at their iconic and heritage property in Mumbai, New Excelsior at Fort.
On 23rd April 2017, New Excelsior Mukta A2 Cinemas played host to the cast and crew of Subhash Ghai's cult classic film Karz which was also re-premiered for the matinee show. The film is considered a cult due to its unconventional storyline and brilliant music which was created by iconic music director duo Laxmikant-Pyaarelal. The film hit screens originally in 1980 and is not back due to popular demand and showcased on India's biggest screen only at New Excelsior Mukta A2 Cinemas, Fort, Mumbai
