Vodka Diaries Trailer: A Gripping Thriller That Is Sure To Get You Hooked
It’s been a while since Bollywood has served up a great engaging murder mystery to its thriller loving fans. However, looking at the recently released trailer of Vodka Diaries one can safely say that the wait for a good Bollywood thriller is finally over.
Vodka Diaries’ trailer gives us a glimpse of a gorgeously filmed crime thriller set in the snow-covered Manali valley, where a series of murders are keeping investigating officer ACP Ashwini Dixit, played by the versatile actor Kay Kay Menon, on his toes.  
The nearly two-minute long trailer commands your attention from the very first scene and further gets you involved with its gripping background music done by Sanjoy Chowdhury and witty dialogues like “Crime main bhi art hain.”
The turning point of the trailer comes when ACP’s wife, Shikha (Mandira Bedi) goes missing. And now ACP Dixit should catch hold of the person behind all these crimes before its too late.
Directed by debutant director Kushal Srivastav, the Vodka Diaries’ trailer gives us a taste of a menacing thriller that deals with a series of murders all interlinked with a club called Vodka Diaries. The music of the film brilliantly adds to the tension that it intends to create and Kay Kay’s many outburst and chilling dialogues promise a stellar performance. The man is back! Mandira Bedi and Raima Sen appear briefly in the trailer but going by their past work, one can be rest assured that they will be in their best elements in Vodka Diaries as well.
The Vodka Diaries trailer, which hinges on several twists and surprises, will get you hooked and promises a feature film that is sure to give you the thrills and the chills.
The film is produced by Vishal Karkera, Vishal Raj, Kushal Srivastava, Atul Pupneja and Vivek Sudhindra Kulshrestha and is scheduled to release on 19 January.
Here’s the synopsis of the film: A series of murders all interlinked with the club Vodka Diaries has put ACP Ashwini Dixit on a trail. The killer has left a cryptic message behind at each murder scene which reads - “Park your demons in the dark.” What does it mean? A secret caller leads Dixit through the jigsaw puzzle, and Dixit has no choice but to join these pieces and find the killer before it is too late.
