She is none other than 25-year-old Shraddha Bhansali, the owner of the famous restaurant Candy and Green in Mumbai, India.
Shraddha Bhansali was born and brought up in Mumbai and belongs to a business class family with his father being a businessman. She always has a deep interest in the art of cooking and used to closely follow her mother at the time of cooking. Shraddha went to the US for further studies after completing her schooling from Mumbai. She graduated in Hospitality and Business Management from Boston University from 2010-2014. After returning to India, Shraddha started her career in a five-star hotel.
Although Shraddha was paid a good amount in the five-star hotel, she always wanted to follow her dream of starting her own business. It was her mother who serves as a role model and inspiration for her to open a restaurant of her own. Her parents supported her decision of opening a restaurant and quit her job. Shraddha at first did some research and then opened her first restaurant, Candy & Green, in Breach Candy, Mumbai in the first quarter of 2017 and was financed by her father.
The best part of her restaurant is that the ingredients used in food preparation are grown in the restaurant itself. Shraddha did not want to serve anything unhealthy to the customers so she started growing a variety of vegetables on the restaurant roof built on 400 square feet. Shraddha ensures that only seasonal vegetable and fruits are grown and used in the meals so the menu of 'Candy and Green' changes seasonally. It is a pure vegetarian restaurant which offers Chinese, Italian, and Thai cuisine, apart from the traditional Indian food. Shraddha's restaurant is famous for not only its healthy stuff but also due to the proper hygiene maintained in the restaurant.
It was always about following her passion for Shraddha and as a result, she has been able to step into the world of Entrepreneurs. Shraddha Bhansali has established herself as a role model in the Food and Hospitality section to the people who are trying hard to get the best ideas for their startups.
