All India Radio, Mysuru bagged two prizes – 1 st Prize in the category of Karnatic Instrumental – Flute and 2 nd Prize in the category of Kannada Light Music.
The Prize distribution function was held at the Music Studios of All India Radio,Mysuru at 4 PM on Wednesday, the 27 th March 2019. In a function of small gathering of Invited Music Lovers, the chairmanship of Sri. Sunil Bhatia, Director Engineering & Head of Office in presence of Sri. H.Srinivasa, Asst. Director (Prog), Dr. S. Vijayaraghavan, Top Grade Veena Artist and Dr. Mysuru M. Manajunath – Top Grade Violin Artist (Both as Chief Guests), prizes were distributed.
Sri. S. Subramanya, Programme Executive (Music) welcomed the gathering. Sri. C.S. Keshava Chandra – First Prize Winner in the category of Karnatic Instrumental – Flute and Sri. B.R. Aalaap - Second Prize Winner in the category of Light Music were given the prizes.
After this both of the artists have presented their performances for a duration of half an
hour each.
