The first knock of opportunity for Sourabh was being a part of Madhushree's band, as a Rhythm Guitarist. Since then Sourabh has shared the stage as a lead guitarist with singers & music directors like Mohit Chouhan,Mika, Anu Malik, Salim Sulaiman, Bappi Lahiri, Akriti Kakar & also as a singer Sourabh gave his voice for Tata Sky Javed Akhtar active project which includes ghazals and dohas.
Sourabh made his debut in bollywood with the song "So Jao" from the movie HAIDER by Vishal Bharadwaj which was appreciated by many. He's also seen performing with Rekha Bharadwaj since 4 years as a singer and guitarist for many shows.
In 2016, Sourabh Joshi released his first original song "Bheege Hum" as a singer and composer, under the label of Zee Music. And lately he's back at it yet again as he has just released his single "Banjara" with Strumm Entertainment. While recording for this one, Sourabh has used live instruments like Esraj and given his indie pop track a folk flavour. His voice is appreciated by all and has received some major hits on the YouTube. When asked Sourabh, he said, "As much as I love bollywood, independent music is the soul of every artist and to be able to express your own emotions and compose the way you want and to put that across to the world is one of the greatest feeling ever. Especially when your audience connects to that and pours love to it".
