'NATYARANG' a musical concert organised by AIR Pune.








'Swaradipawali' in the wake of Dipawali festival, All India Radio Pune organised a musical concert 'Natyarang' on 16th October 2019 at 5:30 p.m. at Tilak Smarak Mandir, Pune in presence of invited audience. Renowned singers like Shri. Anand Bhate (Honoured with the title "Anand Gandharva" in 1981 at the age of 10), Smt. Anuradha Kuber (is a promising young vocalist. She is one of the very few performers of the Bhendi Bazar Gharana gayaki.)and Pandit Suresh Bapat (In 1994, he was honoured with gold medal by the Govt. of Maharashtrarendered 'Natya sangeet' . 'Natya sangeet' is a very unique and peculiar feature of Marathi Stage. Natya sangeet itself contains various forms of Classical, semi classical, light, devotional, folk music & still its own uniqueness remains as it is. It is very famous in Maharashtra. In the concert vocalists were accompanied by Shri. Bharat Kamat on Table, Shri. Rajiv Paranjape on Organ and Shri. Chaitanya Kunte on Harmonium. The performance mesmerized the audience. The response to this concert by listeners of AIR Pune was overwhelming. 

The recording of this concert will be broadcast on 26th October between 06:05 to 06:55 a.m. as 'Diwali Pahat'. All AIR stations in Maharashtra will relay the same. The programme was hosted by Shri. Prasad Kulkarni, Announcer, AIR Pune and Shri. Ravindra Khare. Smt. Prabha Joshi (PEX, Music section, AIR Pune) was chief organizer. Technical support like recording etc. was extended by Smt. Jyoti Ranjekar, Sr. Engg. Asst., Shri. Nilesh Ghatole, Technician and Shri. Sagar Raut, Helper.
