भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजलि : Remembering (Late) Shri Neeraj Goel, former DDG(E) Studio Maintenance DG AIR on his 3rd Death Anniversary.



Shri Neeraj Goel, DDG(E), Studio Maintenance Section at Akashvani Directorate, New Delhi had left us on this date i.e. 31st October 2016, three years back. He was only 49 at that time.

He had worked at various sections of Directorate - M&C Section, IT Division etc. and had left a mark every where. He was Dy. Director General(E) of Radio Kashmir, Srinagar during the devastating floods of 2015 and had handled the situation bravely.An officer of year 88 batch of IBES, Neeraj was full of life and vigour. He was a product of G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantanagar . 

He has left behind two daughters, wife and old mother. He was not just the pillar for his family but also for his four sisters. 

Prasar Bharati Parivar volunteer had a long talk with Ritika, elder daughter of Lt. Shri Goel and conveyed our rememberance to the whole family. Ritika is pursuing her B.Tech 2nd year in computer science at Noida. Akshita, younger daughter of Lt. Shri Goel is in 12th with PCB as main subject. Her aim is to become a cardiologist. Archana Goel, wife of Lt. Shri Goel is a lecturer in D M Polytechnic College in Meerut. Presently the whole family is staying at Meerut in their own house. Both his wife and mother of Neeraj, who are staying with the family are maintaining good health.

When talked about her father's helping nature, Ritika told our volunteer that she too was not aware of it. She only came to know about this quality only after his death that his father mattered a lot to a group of people.

At PB parivar, we feel that our family bonding shall remain alive even after unfortunate demise of our colleagues and we shall try to stand with the families of our such friends and shall try to provide help and strength to them.
