AIR FM Rainbow's 25-year celebration of AIR Panaji featured Goa's legendary singer Lorna Cordeiro's Live in Concert with Norman Cardoz and the Music Brigade band on January 24, 2019 at Dr. S.Z Qasim Auditorium, National Institute of Oceanography, Dona Paula, 4.00 pm onwards.
The lamp lighting ceremony of 25th anniversary of AIR FM Rainbow Channel, Panaji (Goa) was inaugurated by the chief guest, Shri.Nieeraj Agarwal, ADG (P), AIR (WR I & II). Shri Devidas Sudame , Head of office and Siddhartha Meshram head of programme was also present on this auspicious occasion.The live greeting message from Shri. F. Sheheryar, Director General, All India was screened in which he said in the year 1994, M/o I& B started five FM stereo Channels in India and it was a proud moment. FM Rainbow 105.4 MHZ was one of them,which celebrated its silver jublee celebrations. DG AIR also congratulated to AIR Panaji on this event.
In the inaugural address, Shri.Neeraj Agarwal, ADG (P), AIR (WZ) wished to all the staff of AIR, Panaji celebrating 25 glorious years of success. He also thanked the listeners of AIR FM Rainbow, Goa for being intact to listening to AIR programmes.
The programme was followed by a live in concert featuring Legendary Lorna, as a part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of AIR FM Rainbow. Her unbeatable records have never missed a single line up on the radio channel, so far and this concert only adds to the lovely relationship she shares with AIR.
In this live concert, RJS of AIR FM Rainbw, Goa featured 6 dances while Lorna singing. The NIO Auditorium was overcrowded and the whole event was also uploaded live on fm rainbow face book page. The entire event was planned and organised by Mr.Savio Noronha,PEX(FM Rainbow)and his team.
The programme ended with Cake cutting ceremony by Shri.Neeraj Agarwal, ADG (P), AIR (WZ) and Legendary Lorna.
