In Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Kargil and the District Administration has appreciated and admired the Service Rendered by Senior Announcer All India Radio Kargil Mohammad Hassan Askari and presented a Certificate and Memento during the Main Republic Day Function Held at Khree Sultan Choo Sports Stadium by the Chairman/Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan.
The Certificate writes that Credited for being the first broadcaster of Kargil and Popular Known as the Voice of Kargil, Mohammad Hassan Askari remains on the forefront in highlighting the demands, issues and problems of the People of Kargil district through All India Radio Kargil.
B Jaya Prakash, Deputy Director General of All India Radio Kargil along with Programme Head Lobzang Namgyal, Copy Editor Mohammad Abdullah, Anayat Ali, Transmission Executive Gulzar Hussain and all the Staff has appreciated and congratulated Mohammad Hassan Askari.
While talking to Media Mohammad Hassan Askari, has dedicated the Award to all those colleagues of him who worked at All India Radio Kargil since 1997 and contributed in making this Station one of the top Radio Stations of J&K after Radio Kashmir Srinagar.
Thanking Lakhs of Listeners on Both Side of the LOC and their love, Mohammad Hassan Askari, further told that All India Radio Kargil has worked hard to achieve this milestone and such appreciation motivates us to work more dedicatedly to achieve the goal of Prasar Bharati the Public Service Broadcaster.
Incharge Head of Office Kamal Singh, Hoisted the National Flag at All India Radio Baroo Kargil and such functions were also seen at HPT Kargil, DMC and other Stations. Addressing to the Staff, Family members of Radio Colony and Inmates of Bal Ashram, Kamal Singh lauded the role played by All India Radio Kargil in Nation Building particularly in this part of the country. He said that it's the duty of every countrymen and Government servant to rise to the occasion and give its full potential for the nation building.
He called upon the staff to provide best service to the people of this frontier district and praised the staff members who served the radio in the adverse climatic conditions and circumstances.
