Best Employee of The Month' award for December 2018 and Best employee of the year award 2018 were distributed in AIR Pune on 26th January 2019. To encourage the staff, AIR Pune is nominating one of the staff members from Engineering, Programme and Administration sections as 'Best Employee of the Month'.
On 26th January 2019 a function was organized to honor the prize winners. Shri. Ravindra Ranjekar (Asst. Engg.) announced the name of Shri. Tikaram fate as Best Employee for December 2018 .His dedicated work in up-keeping and updating of store has fetched the award. Shri. Anilkumar Pingale (PEX) announced the name of Shri. Pravin Kulkarni for his major contribution in commercial section. Smt. Sangeeta Upadhye, Asst. Director (E) declared name of Shri Sandeep Biwalkar, EA as best employee from engineering section. His contribution in installation of new telemetry made him eligible to win this award . Shri Nitin Kelkar(Asst.Dir. News) declared name of Shri Manoj Kshirsagar,News reader as best employee from news section.Three years ago Akashvani Pune started broadcasting Regional News, read by blind persons, scripted in Braille, which got lot of appreciation from press and public..This year on 3rd january Special News from Akashvani Pune broadcasted using Braille Script . Shri Manoj Kshirsagar's contribution in the project of Braille News apart from routine work ,fetched the award
Smt. Sangeeta Upadhye declared name of Shri. Raman as Best Employee of the year 2018. It is impossible to describe Mr. Raman's contribution for AIR Pune in brief. He is an asset for AIR Pune and this department. Mr. Raman means very simple, always humble and laconic. He may be called encyclopedia of AIR Pune.
