A Workshop on Awareness for sexual harassment at workplace was organized at AIR Pune. Dr Shailaja Sangale, a prominent social worker ,Shri. Ashish Bhatnagar ,DDG (E) and Head of Office, Shri. Gopal Autee ,DDP and Head of Prog., Shri. Sahebrao sonawane , Asst. Director (O.L.)Sangeeta Upadhye, Asst. Director (E) graced the function.
Shri. Ashish Bhatnagar urged the women staff to frankly speak out on constructive thoughts for curbing the social evil of harassment
Next session was conducted by Dr Shailaja Sangale, in which she focused Self defence techniques for women and gave information about Sexual Harassment act 2013 of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal). She said sexual harassment in the workplace is illegal, and you should report such a problem officially by filing a formal complaint to internal Complaint Committee .
