Since it's inception in 02.06.1963, it was for the first time on 30.12.18, AIR was involved in LIVE coverage of 75th year celebration of first flag hoisting by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at Gymkhana ground. The function was graced by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi.This was the first occasion when any Live programme of AIR Port Blair was carried on National network.
