Shri Devender Singh, Retd. Dy. Director General (E), AIR has left for his heavenly abode on the night of 16th September 2019. He was Suffering from Pneumonia for last 6 days and was hospitalised.
Shri Devender Singh had worked in various installation of All India Radio. He is remembered as a pillar of Propogation group of Research Department of AIR & DD. He also had a long and impressive innings at Frequency Assignment Section (now SMS Division), DG, AIR, New Delhi. Later, he moved to Zonal Office, North Zone, New Delhi from where he retired as DDG(E).
Shri Devender Singh is survived by his wife and 2 sons who are well settled at United Kingdon (UK) and Mohali (India). The mortal remains of Shri Devender Singh had been taken to his native village in Etah, UP for last rites.
