Onam celebrated with gaiety in Manjeri FM,Kerala. Onam,the festival of oneness,the biggest celebration in Kerala,was an occasion for the staff,presenters and their families of Manjeri FM to participate in the making of the traditional athappokkalam, a colourful rangoli with flowers and leaves,Onam games and cultural fiesta culminating in a sumptuous feast.They celebrated it with fervour and gaiety.
Clad in the traditional attire, this Onam has brought them added joy, as the celebrations also marked the successful launching of the first and only seamless transmission amongst the primary and local stations in the State and official live streaming,both are immensely popular in a short period.
V.P.Shoukkathali,noted poet,inaugurated the celebrations,which was chaired by D.PradeepKumar,Head of Programmes.Umar Kodur,Senior Engineering Assistant and Muneer Amayur, Transmission Executive, offered felicitations.Venugopalan,Engineering Assistant ,who designed the much acclaimed athappokkalam, was felicitated .
