65 years old retired Programme Executive Mr. Dhiraj Gosai succumbed to accident injuries on 01/12/2018 after giving tough fight to death for one and a half month. He was selected as Programme Executive by UPSC and posted at Akashwani Ahmedabad in 1988, before which he worked as a script writer for a brief period. He worked at Akashwani Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Daman, Ahwa and Baroda, and touched the vast-fabric of the society of entire Gujarat state through his Programme. He was an excellent broadcaster and won many annual awards for his programme in different categories – Lhasa Kaul award, Innovative programme, Gandhian philosophy etc. He was a member of the adult education committee at Gujarat Vidhyapith, Ahmedabad. He was known for his humble, simple and helpful nature. After retiring as Programme Head from Akashwani, Baroda in 2013 he remained connected with the organisation in many ways till his sudden exit on 01/12/2018.
